Preserve the viewshed from Stoopville Road approaching the
entrance to the proposed National Cemetery and the historic village.

   Protect existing farms from encroachment of new developments so
that they can remain viable and active farms.

   Maintain the visual corridor along S.R. 532 as a gateway to Upper
Makefield Township and the Historic Village of Dolington by through
the implementation of sound planning principles that maximize the
benefits of the open space provisions for the CM district.

   Institute traffic calming measures on S.R. 532 on the approaches
to and throughout Historic Dolington Village to mitigate the impact of
increased traffic from new developments and the National Cemetery
and allow the village to be safe for pedestrians to walk.

   Ensure that Dolington Village and the Towerview Development are
tied into any off site waste water disposal plan instituted as a result of
the cemetery and/or development.

   Protect the current Conservation Management zoning district by
ensuring that any development plan meets the existing conditional
use guidelines of the CM district or is part of an overlay district that
includes the National Cemetery as an integral part of the overlay.

   Obtain commitments from the VA that residents adjacent to the
proposed National Cemetery will be permitted to participate in design
decisions involving the cemetery with regard to access road
locations, lighting, landscaping, etc.

   Preserve the existing historic buildings on the site of the proposed
National Cemetery.
